Road Construction Update (November 28 – December 4, 2016)

Working jointly with Douglas County, Sterling Ranch is executing significant improvements to bring surrounding roads up to current code standards. Sterling Ranch is committed to improving the safety and mobility of surrounding roads and is developing an internal road network to keep drivers, bikers and pedestrians safe.

We will continue to provide regular updates to keep you informed and minimize any inconvenience. Thank you in advance for exercising caution while construction crews work on these improvements.

Titan Road Improvements
Traffic on Titan Road has shifted to the new alignment with two lanes open. Construction will be conducted on the west end of Titan Road, and the new Taylor River Circle intersection will undergo striping to include a left-turn lane. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change. Any additional updates will be posted as they become available.

Wadsworth & Waterton Intersection Improvement
Crews will begin paving Waterton Road and northbound Wadsworth Boulevard this week.

Southbound Wadsworth Boulevard remains reduced to a single lane approaching Waterton Road. A number of measures have been taken to improve congested conditions during construction. A southbound left-turn lane on Wadsworth Boulevard to Waterton Road has been added to improve flow during peak times.

In order to construct the project, lane closures are necessary. Motorists should expect some peak period delay on all intersection approaches through spring 2017. The current traffic pattern will be in place through February. The speed limit on Wadsworth Boulevard has been reduced to 25 mph. Fines are double within the work zone.
