We are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of Sterling Ranch’s civic center – Sterling Center – that took place on Friday, July 21, 2017.

Anticipated to open in late 2018, Sterling Center will be located at the entrance to Providence Village – Sterling Ranch’s pioneer village. It will be a place for community gathering, learning, business leaders and health and wellness.

Its design, materials and overall composition are pinched from the community’s natural surroundings. The low, long building for business space represents the panoramic mountain range. Its colors are emblematic of the landscape and native plantings – wood that represents the prairie; brick that pays homage to tree bark; glass that illustrates the reflections of water. Coupled with stainless building materials, Sterling Center becomes a mirror for its natural surroundings.

Within Sterling Center, residents can expect over 20,000 square feet of business space, which will include organizations such as UCHealth, Siemens, the Sterling Ranch Community Authority Board (SRCAB) and more. The building’s second component is a more than 3,400 square foot exhibit hall touting myriad educational venues regarding the community, its surroundings and its technologies.

Just outside the building is a display garden with walking paths and opportunities to learn about and experience the native and naturalized landscaping designed in collaboration with Denver Botanic Gardens.
