    REQUEST INFO

Sterling Ranch is dedicated to enhancing the lives of everyone who lives here. One way we make that happen is through a variety of community events, which are designed to help residents connect to one another as well as develop and grow as individuals. Kate Kunzie, the Community Lifestyle Director at Sterling Ranch, brings a fresh stream of fun activities every month. Here’s a quick recap of events that took place in May.

Bouquet Making with Bloom Bar Flower Truck

On Saturday, May 11 the Bloom Bar Flower Truck made a special (and timely!) visit to the Sterling Ranch Information Center. For only $15, lucky residents made one-of-a-kind bouquets for that someone special in their life. Just in time for Mother’s Day!

We also used the flower truck as an opportunity to show our support to the people that were affected by the tragic STEM School shooting in Highlands Ranch. Residents could make bouquets to be given as gifts to people who were affected by the shooting. There was also a large banner reading “Our hearts are with the STEM School community” for residents to sign and add a note of encouragement, and blue and gold ribbons were also made available for people to wear as a sign of support. In the midst of tragedy, it never ceases to amaze us how the human spirit reveals itself and how love, generosity, courage, togetherness and support seem to always prevail. We are grateful to and inspired by everyone who showed their support.

    Lake Family Dental Ribbon Cutting

On May 13 the Sterling Center welcomed its newest tenant, Lake Family Dental, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Festivities included food, drinks, and a raffle drawing.

Burger Tasting with Tony’s Meats & Market

Tony’s Market of Castle Pines joined us on May 17 for a free cooking demonstration at the Sterling Center. A professional chef showed residents how to make the perfect summer burger using Grist Brewing Company beer!

    Coffee with the CAB

Members of the Community Authority Board (CAB) met with neighbors in the community on Saturday morning, May 18, from 9:00-11:00am, for coffee and a light breakfast. This informal time takes place on a monthly basis and is an opportunity for Sterling Ranch residents to get to know their neighbors and get updates on what’s happening at Sterling Ranch.

    Blood Drive

UC Health Sterling Ranch Medical Center and Jorge Martinez, Sterling Ranch resident and realtor at HomeSmart Realty, put together a blood drive that took place on May 18.

    Barre in the Park

Sterling Ranch resident Britney Palmer owns and operates Barre3 Highlands Ranch, a fitness studio that combines ballet barre, yoga, and pilates. May 29 was the first outdoor event Britney held this summer, and it was a hit! Two more fitness classes are planned for the summer — June 26 and July 24. Classes are open to people of all fitness levels.

    Backcountry Bedtime Stories

This fun event for kids took place on May 31. Residents enjoyed a hayride to Fort Wildwood and were treated to a reading of a nature-inspired story. Kids got to make crafts using materials they found in the woods, and had some free time to explore before heading back home at sunset.

    Denver Botanic Gardens Volunteer Opportunities

Denver Botanic Gardens has a location near Sterling Ranch called Chatfield Farm. As a valued partner with our community, we’re encouraging residents to consider answering their call for volunteers.

Sterling Ranch Highlighted in Denver Post Article

Okay, so it’s not technically an event, but we sure think it’s worth celebrating! On May 12, the Denver Post ran an article about smart communities in Colorado. Sterling Ranch was one of two communities that was highlighted (the other is Pena Station Next, near DIA). They specifically called out our advanced fiberoptic network; STEWARD, our in-home technology panel; and our integrated street lighting system. We’re proud to be setting trends for better and smarter technology.

More activities are coming next month! There’s always something happening at the Ranch — just one of the ways we strive to serve our community and bring residents together.

Sterling Ranch is a new-home community that is pioneering new and better ways of living in harmony with nature and one another. With new homes from the $400s, you can start living the life you’ve always wanted. Joy resides here.
